A spider escapes from an isolated desert laboratory experimenting in giantism and grows to tremendous size as it wreaks havoc on the local inhabitants.
What can you say about 50’s Giant Insect Movies? Some are pretty good while others stunk up the joint. Tarantula is one of the good ones. There is something to be said for these old movies and the actors who could take ridiculous stories and still make them into something worth watching, even 60 years later.
Of course, this film also has the distinction of being listed in the Rocky Horror Picture Show’s opening credit sequence.
