Now, I don’t expect you to make this from scratch.. unless you, in fact, make your own sausages and have a chicken
- 1 English Muffin (or Large (grands) biscuit)
- 1 Sausage Patty (not links)
- 1 Large Egg (or egg substitute)
- 1 Slice of your favorite cheese (I used Cheddar)
That’s pretty much it.. the trick is to get the egg to fit your English muffin. Well, there are a few suggestions.
- Make a thin scrambled egg and fold it (the burger king method)
- Make a solid scrambled egg (omlet-like) and use a coffee mug to cut out the circle
- Use a 3 inch pan (low heat, wait for it to cook 3/4 through before attempting to flip)
