Set in a future where a failed climate-change experiment kills all life on the planet except for a lucky few who boarded the Snowpiercer, a train that travels around the globe, where a class system emerges.
There’s a lot to be said about this movie, some good, mostly good.. some bad, but not much.
The tension is thick. We have a definite class warfare story going on, as the poorest of society rebel against the rich, first class passengers; who feel that these destitute few, should just be happy to be alive… never mind the fact that they’re treated worse than cattle.
I have to wonder why there’s never any middle class in these types of stories. Why is it always, super rich / super poor with no middle ground? Probably to give a solid line to cross with no gray area.
The acting is very well done by everyone involved, I love Tilda Swinton!
