Clash of the Titans

BumpMapFrame

A film adaption of the myth of Perseus and his quest to battle both Medusa and the Kraken monster to save the Princess Andromeda.

There’s a lot to be said about this film. Ground breaking stop motion animation, a great (but inaccurate) story, good acting, props and effects (for the time) all around. Clash of the Titans is a classic that could not be outshone by the 2010 remake.

Perhaps the true reason to watch this movie is for the stop-motion animations and special effects of Ray Harryhausen. From the Krakken itself, to the intricate mane of snakes for Medusa’s head and all across the lands, the animated effects were phenomenal and may never be matched on such a level.

This is a fine movie for the youngsters.. save for 2 scenes which include non-sexualized nudity (breast feeding & a bath).
