A delicious, mysterious goo that oozes from the earth is marketed as the newest dessert sensation. But the tasty treat rots more than teeth when zombie-like snackers who only want to consume more of the strange substance at any cost begin infesting the world.
I’m not gonna lie, this is not a great movie. But, it’s one of those little guilty pleasures that I indulge in ever.. oh.. decade or so..
This is pure 80’s, in a parody of the snack/fast food craze of the time. People where turning from home cooked meals, to Mc Donald’s and eating more junk food than ever. So, why not a movie about a yogurt-like food that a big corporation knows is killing us, being mass marketed to an unsuspecting country of consumers? Hell, back then, no one really knew what the heck yogurt was, anyways.. could have been The Stuff, for all we knew. But, it tasted good, and that’s all that mattered.
It has it’s own theme. It has marketing. It has a militia. It has corporate greed.. what more could you want? Because “Enough is not Enough, of the Stuff”
