Electric Boogaloo

BumpMapFrame

A documentary about Menahem Golan and Yoram Globus – two movie-obsessed cousins whose passion for cinema changed the way movies were made and marketed – and the tale of how this passion ultimately led to the demise of the company they built together

There’s something to be said for, and admired about, the founders of Cannon Films. They loved movies, they loved Hollywood and they made movies. Lots of them. Like, seriously, a ridiculous amount of movies. The only issue was, they were 95% crap. But, they were doing what they loved, and I can’t fault them for that. Hell, if I had the start up capital, I’d LOVE to make movies… even if they sucked.
