Harry finds himself mysteriously selected as an under-aged competitor in a dangerous tournament between three schools of magic. (Source: IMDB)

I’ve never read the books, but really enjoyed this franchise. It really is a great family movie experience, filled with magic and wonderment. The best thing I found is that the story matures with the character, becoming darker and more serious with each installment.

However, this magical world is not without flaws.

  • When are they going to learn that the “Defense against the Dark Arts” Teacher will always turn out to be bad?
  • Who sanctions these schools? The Ministry of “Let’s kill all the children in Horrible Ways”??
  • Ugh, Gods, they made it to Uncomfortable, Teen-aged Drama…
