On the night of Halloween, 10 teens decide to go to a party at an abandoned funeral parlor. “Hull House”, rumored to be built on an evil patch of land & underground stream, is the place. While starting the party, the teens gather around a big mirror to perform a seance…BIG MISTAKE. They awaken some evil force and find themselves trapped and taken over one by one. Now it’s a battle for who can survive and cross over the stream before going to hell. (Source: IMDB)
Very typical 80’s Horror teen horror movie, a diverse cast of mostly unknown actors of varying skill. Really, the only name of note is the awesome and sexy Linnea Quigley (Trash/Return of the Living Dead) as the vain and ditzy Suzanne.
If a majority of the budget was spent on anything, it was the special effect makeup, which for the time, really isn’t all that bad. This is a fun horror romp, what it lacks in writing and dialog, it makes up for in grotesque makeup and deaths of teens, who we can all agree, pretty much deserve what’s coming for them.
Pop the corn, turn off the lights and enjoy this campy little horror movie!
