Captain Jack Sparrow finds the winds of ill-fortune blowing even more strongly when deadly ghost pirates led by his old nemesis, the terrifying Captain Salazar, escape from the Devil’s Triangle, determined to kill every pirate at sea…including him. In short, I liked it!
If this is to be the final PotC movie (as rumored) I think they tied up the story lines nicely.. If not the last, I really don’t know where they’re heading from here. The effects on Cpt Salazar’s crew was pretty awesome.. much more frightening than the Black Pearls’ undead. I loved the cameos by Will Tuner and Elizabeth.. but I will say that I took issue with Johnny Depp voice work for his younger self. It didnt sound like a young him at all, and just made the scene weird.
Story, acting, action.. all good. I recommend seeing in the theaters, and for personal collection.
