Two estranged brothers reunite at their missing father’s video store and find a VCR board game dubbed ‘Beyond The Gates’ that holds a connection to their father’s disappearance.
To be honest, I’m not sure what I thought of this one.. it wasn’t bad.. it certainly wasn’t great, either. It was definitely an independent film, while it needed a bit of spicing up, it wasn’t overtly amateur.
Perhaps the subject matter was a little too obscure. For one, I have never heard of VHS games, and my life revolved around movies and rentals. Perhaps it was a west coast thing?
Either way, the few effects were pretty good, acting was pretty ok.
