I’ve never read the books, but really enjoyed this franchise. It really is a great family movie experience, filled with magic and wonderment. The best thing I found is that the story matures with the character, becoming darker and more serious with each installment.

However, this magical world is not without flaws.

  • It is at this point in the franchise that you realize that the Time Turner (from Prisoner of Azkaban) could have been used to prevent all this from happening.. Dumbledor KNEW the exact moment when things went wrong, when he could have gone back to fix it.. yet he did Nothing.
  • Slughorn is a moron. He also knew a pivotal moment when things could have been prevented. And did Nothing.
  • And the moral of the story is.. YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO TIME TRAVEL.. AND DID NOTHING.
