I was first introduced to Oliver in 8th grade chorus class, and fell in love with it right away.. what’s not to love? Before Cats and Phantom took broadway by storm.. Oliver had one of the most catchy soundtracks around. A compelling story that doesn’t dumb down the harshness of the life of a pickpocket in old London. Songs, Inspiration.. and Murder!
Although, I often wondered about the creepiness of a an old man keeping a horde of young boys.. but, let’s not think too much about that!
A must see for anyone, any age.
